Auras, Polish & Fixes

Feature Auras
Brand-new cosmetic category — animated effects that wrap around your bomber and follow you across the map
Visible to ALL players in your room — show off your style to the whole lobby
Five effect engines: Pulse (expanding rings), Glow (true outer glow on your sprite silhouette), Particles (orbiting dots), Electric (crackling arcs) and Fire (rising flames at your feet)
Configurable color and intensity per aura
Equip from the shop, inventory page, or directly in-game (ESC → Inventory → Auras)
Switching is instant — no rejoin needed when changing auras mid-match
Improvement Live Shop Preview
Aura cards in the shop now show an animated preview with a character sprite inside the effect
Same animation language used in the in-game inventory tiles for consistency
Improvement Fire Aura Detail
Flames originate at the feet and rise through the lower body, character takes on a warm orange tint
Flames render in front of the character in every facing direction

Kill Streak Icons, Shop Spotlight Redesign & Chat Settings

Feature Kill Streak Icon
A streak icon now appears above your character when you reach a 5 kill streak
The icon changes color at higher streaks: green at 10, light blue at 15, and gold at 20 kills
The icon disappears when you die — rebuild your streak to show it off again
Feature Multi-Kill Announcements
Double Kill, Triple Kill and Quadra Kill announcements now appear on screen
Earning multiple kills within 5 seconds triggers a dramatic on-screen overlay
Feature Player Chat Display Setting
New setting to control where player chat messages appear: Game Chat, Scoreboard, or Both
Default is Both — messages show in the game chat bar and in the scoreboard under each player
When set to Game Chat, no chat text is shown in the scoreboard at all
Improvement Shop Spotlight Redesign
The Shop Spotlight on the lobby now uses a clean gold star SVG icon instead of the fire emoji
Shop Spotlight has been moved above the room list for better visibility

Players can now type messages that appear under their name in the scoreboard
Red text shows your own message while typing (only visible to you)
White text appears for everyone after pressing Enter

Spectators can still chat in the game chat panel
