The biggest BombSaland update yet

We have been building a lot behind the scenes, and it is finally here. Version 3.5 turns BombSaland from single matches into a living world with brand new co-op action, a fresh combat layer and your very first passive ability. Here is everything that is new.

A shared Hub world

There is now a central Hub where every player spawns together and walks around freely. It is the first step toward a full online world.

• Walk your character up to a glowing portal to jump straight into a game mode, no menus needed
• Bombs are switched off in the Hub so it stays a calm meeting place between matches
• Your facing direction is synced in full 360 degrees, so other players can see where you are looking

Hardcore Adventures

Our new co-op wave survival mode is all about teamwork and staying alive.

• Team up and survive endless waves of zombies that grow faster, tougher and more numerous every round
• Players now have a real HP bar instead of dying in one hit. Fire chips away at your health, so you can fight your way out of a tight spot
• Survive a wave to earn an Undead Chest full of loot, then a short countdown drops you into a fresh arena for the next wave
• A solo survivor keeps the full chest, while a surviving team shares the reward
• The arena is now a large open battlefield that fills your screen, with a different background per wave

Special Fire: shoot and throw

Hardcore Adventures adds a new way to attack that reads the world around you.

• Left click to fire. Against an open lane your bomb rockets in a straight line until it hits a wall or an enemy
• Aimed at a wall with a free tile behind it, your bomb arcs up and over to land on the other side
• A live reticle and trajectory arc show exactly where your shot will land before you commit

Abilities and Loadout

A new 4-slot ability bar appears in Hardcore Adventures.

• Trigger abilities with keys 1 to 4 or by clicking a slot
• Pick which ability sits in each slot with the loadout editor. Your choice is saved to your account
• Every ability runs on its own cooldown with a clean scanner animation

Soul Split: your first passive

Meet the Soul Split, a rare item that unlocks a permanent passive power.

• In Hardcore Adventures a slice of the damage you deal to enemies comes straight back to you as HP
• Find it as a drop or inside a chest, then drag it onto a passive slot or right click it in your inventory to equip it
• Equipping is permanent, so a confirmation makes sure before it locks in. Every time you heal, a small green number pops over your character

Quality of life

• The in-game chat is now split into tabs per room, so conversations stay clean
• The bottom panel was redesigned into clear columns for your gear, inventory, active players and chat
